Starbow Passengers Threaten Legal Action Passengers of local airline Starbow have threatened to take legal action against the local airline after they were left stranded in Tamale this morning. Citi Business News has gathered the airline was forced to halt operations from Tamale to Accra on Tuesday morning after it was notified that the Tamale runway will be closed to traffic. Hundreds of passengers were affected by the move. Some of the passengers who made distress calls to Citi Fm said the airline failed to communicate the flight cancellations leaving them stranded at the airport. “We are very disappointed with Starbow. I bought my ticket and they indicated that the flight will take off at 11am; I arrived here around 10am and I was told the flight had taken off at 8am and no one made an effort to call us. Not even a text message from them, I gave them my details when I was buying the tickets,” a passenger complained. Citi Business News has gathered that the airline is currently making arrangements to get the passengers on other airlines. Source: Citifmonline.com
