Black Stars to play Kenya on June 1.
The Black Stars will play Kenya in an international friendly on June 1, Ghana Sports can reveal.
The Ghanaians had proposals from Mexico and Japan for a similar engagement on June 4 but sources say the Ghana FA has turned down the request.
The Black Stars will pitch camp in Kenya ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan and has therefore agreed to play the Harambee Stars on June 1.
The team will then leave for Omdurman where they will square off against Sudan in a crucial qualifier on June 8 before flying to Maseru for the penultimate game against Lesotho.
The Black Stars beat the Nile Crocodile 4-0 in their last qualifying match at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
