Ghana Under-17 coach Fabin unveils final squad.
The coach has announced his final 21-man players for the 2013 African U17 Championship in Morocco, which takes place from April 13
Ghana Under-17 coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has released his final 21-man squad for the 2013 African U17 Championship in Morocco.
The list was finalised after three warm-up games where the Black Starlets won two and lost one. Their last game was against Novara’s B side in which they won 6-2 in Italy on Tuesday
The team will be moving to their base in Marrakesh on Wednesday from Italy for the tournament which kicks of this weekend.
The Black Starlets, two-time World and African champions have drawn Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Congo in Group B for the continental championship. The semi finalists will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates next October.
Full squad:
Goalkeepers: Ali Mohammed, Lawrence Ati and Emmanuel Anning
Defenders: Isaac Twum, Patrick Kojo Asmah, William Dankyi, Nicholas Opoku, Yakubu Mohammed, Hamza Hamidu and Kingsley Fobih
Midfielders: Gideon Waja, Appiah MacCarthy, Caleb Gomina, Paul Asare De-Vries, Yaw Yeboah, David Atanga, Thomas Agyapong, Zakaria Mumuni and Emmanuel Oti Essigba
Strikers: Emmanuel Boateng and Benjamin Tetteh
