Thenewsghana.blogspot.com can confirm that there is a fire outbreak at the IT Department of the Electoral Commission (EC).
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) are said to be at the scene battling the fire.
It
is still unclear what caused the outbreak but The News correspondent,
who filed a report from the scene a short while ago, said some staff of
the IT department tried quelling the fire from spreading to other
departments with fire extinguishers at the office before the arrival of
the GNFS. |
