The Mfantsipim School Development Committee, as part of its Terms of Reference (TOR) of strengthening the Mfantsipim brand, is inviting all old Boys who are architects and designers to participate in a competition for the development of the School.

Particular areas earmarked for the project includes the school entrance;

This is for the re-design / reconfiguration of the main entrance to the School, encompassing the Roundabout and the interface between the School street and the main Kotokuraba Street.
This could be an abstract monument design, which encapsulates the history and heritage of Mfantsipim and its founding fathers' dreams and aspirations; as well as touching all generations of the past, present and future students.

The Mfantsipim theme park & history garden; This is a theme park for the heritage of the School, including miniature size of major landmarks of the School, including dormitories, classroom blocks; busts of major actors for the establishment of the School, especially headmasters and a chronology of the School's beginning well-laid out.
This will also be taken as a heritage / educational tourism site and as a history garden.

The monument could be open to tourists and students from especially junior high schools to inspire them to study hard and get admitted to the School. It will also include busts of old Boys who get inducted into the Mfantsipim Hall of Fame and all artefacts of the School.
